Rueben Gonzales is an artist living in Arlington, and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. Gonzales earned his BFA in 2008 from the University of Texas at Arlington and his MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2019. Gonzales creates conceptual works that respond to the spiritual, religious and cultural relationship of humans as they exists within nature and within the time spent there.
